Runyan Lake Fireworks lights up the sky every July in a hometown spectacle of red, white, and blue—launched from the island and mirrored in the rippling water as families, friends, and boaters gather along the shore and afloat to cheer. Lanterns glow along the banks, sparklers wink in little hands, and each booming burst paints the night with glittering trails and golden stars, turning the lake into a shimmering parade of patriotism and joy—so bright and booming it might just stir something mysterious in the deep. It’s a timeless community tradition: equal parts heart, hometown pride, and fireworks‑fueled wonder.
